Tonight's show code
MRQ-____
1
Load the show onto a USB drive, the easy way.

After you check in (steps 2 to 5), the page offers Prepare Show Drive. On a laptop or desktop, plug in a spare USB stick, confirm it's empty, click, approve, and it writes the show onto your drive named and ordered exactly right, and only your car's part. If the show has more than one part for your kind of car, you'll pick yours first (the page tells you). Then plug the drive into your car's glovebox USB port. No computer handy? Ask the producer for the show files and copy the LightShow folder onto the drive yourself.

2
Scan the QR code, or go to marqueelightshow.com.

Type the show code into the join box on the homepage. Either way works.

3
Sign in with Tesla.

It's Tesla's own login page, the show never sees your password.

4
Pick your car and enter your preloaded show count.

Most Teslas come preloaded with 6 to 8 light shows, and this number can change over time, so verify the amount currently on your Tesla. Enter the correct number of preloaded light shows, not counting anything on your USB drive. This is essential for your car to play the correct shows. Not sure? Enter your best count, the test in step 6 will confirm it and help you fix it if needed.

5
Approve the key.

Your Tesla app will ask you to approve access for marqueelightshow.com. Tap Approve. This is what lets the director cue your car with everyone else's.

6
Tap "Test my car."

Your lights will run for about 15 seconds and stop on their own. If the right show played, confirm it, you're verified and officially in the show. If not, the page helps you fix it in one tap.

7
Park where you're told, then just enjoy the night.

At showtime the director cues every car at the exact same instant. Yours included. You don't touch anything.

Good to know

  • During the show your car briefly unlocks and Sentry Mode pauses, both automatic, both restored after. Take valuables with you.
  • Your access is temporary and yours to revoke anytime: Tesla app → Security & Drivers → Third-Party Apps. The director can also release your car after the event.
  • Leaving early? Tell the producer so they can release your car from the show.
  • Keep your car in Park with the USB plugged in. That's it.
  • Prefer to watch it done?
